The botanical name of lucky bamboo is Dracaena Braunii.  It is native to the tropical rainforests of Africa and Southeast Asia. Three Layers of Lucky Bamboo is believed to be one of the most favorite presentations of lucky bamboo. It brings three kinds of luck to you: Happiness (Fu), Long Life (Soh), and Wealth (Lu). The parts of this plant represent the elements of Earth, Wood, Water, Metal, and Fire. It is also recognized by various other names, such as Friendship Bamboo, Curly Bamboo, Chinese Bamboo, and Chinese Water Bamboo.  The plant is wood signifies one of the five elements of Feng Shui and according to Vastu Shastra too, it brings happiness and luck to the house it sits in. The Lucky bamboo is not really bamboo. It belongs to the same family as Lily.

Caring tips :

•  Keep out of direct sunlight. 

•  Spraying with water will be enough to wet the soil.

• Watering. Preserve the roots in water and change the water every second week.

• Minimum temperature 15°C. A lower temperature could affect the plant, they prefer a warm climate.
